The first B31 models were rolling out of the Birmingham plant by late 1945. This is an early 1946 model, first registered in 1947, which has the speedo mounted in the fuel tank. This B31 is very nicely restored with new chrome and shiny paintwork, new rims, rebuilt engine & gearbox by the previous owner.
The B31 starts easily and runs well. A very light and nimble machine to ride. The seating position is comfortable and front suspension is just right. Brakes are working very well and lights / horn work as they should, dynamo charges as it should. Speedo is in km/h !
She comes with Belgian documents.
Not a very common machine, so this is a rare opportunity to own a spartan single cylinder motorcycle of the ’40 ies, made with weaponry-like quality by BSA.
