The Honda GB500TT is definitely a rare sight in Europe, as it was never officially marketed and sold here.
Honda built this wonderful cafĂ© racer around the reliable XL600 unit. Looks were designed with a blink towards the Goldstar, Manx and Thruxton models of the ’60 ies. Although not really successful in the nineties, now the GB500TT is a sought after classic bike.
This 1989 model was originally sold in Texas and imported to Belgium in 2015.
In my ownership I have replaced all fluids and oil filter, put a new battery and replaced 2 indicators.
The GB500TT is very original and well looked after, starts (electric and kick) and runs how it should. The crisp sound of the 500 single is very pleasant to the ears, combine that with a sporty but comfortable riding position and you quickly start to feel like a TT racer. With only 8600 miles from new, this is a rare opportunity to own a bike that will never disappoint you.
